Data: The m800 seems to use small amounts of data when accessing the video
and mp3 players. It's not large use but if you're cheap like me then you
might not want to see it add up over time. Talked to CS and they told me
data can be turned off on the phone if you aren't planning on using data in
general.
Voicemail: The phone has visual voicemail which apparently dials your
voicemail whenever someone leaves you one. This means each time you're left
a voicemail you'll be charged airtime when the phone dials in to record your
messages onto the phone. This drawback is the only true negative I've seen
so far. I've talked to CS, and they told me they can turn my voicemail
feature off completely to avoid this problem, but the visual voicemail
feature itself cannot be turned off (and this option leaves you with no
voicemail). |
