cv boot就是那个胶皮；cv axle就是我们说的驱动轴或者说驱动杆；
CV AXLE连接你的transmission到你的轮子上，产生驱动力，你有两根axle到两个轮子
上，half axle上有两个joint，每个joint上都有boot盖住，里面有润滑油；所以你有
左右两根axle,共4个boot.
cv boot就$30,half axle $80. 你的情况只能换axle. |

但是换boot的话，要拆axle，然后拆掉boot，然后清洗里面的grease，然后检查cv
joint有没有磨损，
然后装新的boot，然后装grease，然后装axle，最后alignment
labor差很多，网上有报价300-400的，
但是part差的不太多，
boot大概15-20， axle上面有人说了 aftermarket 60 ， oem 95
我觉的这个报价140应该是aftermarket的axle，大概就这个劳动量 |

发帖数: 15913 | 7 I did it yesterday. Replaced driver side drive axle assembly by myself.
Took 2 hours. I used a chisel to pry the axle out of the transmission block
. I also used 2 bungee cords to hang the rotor/steering knucle.
Depending on your car, you may not need to remove ball joint. I did not
remove mine. You also need a torque wrench.
My CV boot was broken. I did not bother to replace the boot. Just replace
the whole axle. The new axle is made by A1 cardone (high quality). The

bad pretty soon.
I found one company claimed to use the brand new outer CV
on their rebuilt axles. they also provide lifetime warranty.

of ppl are in favor of it. hehe.
BTW, they also have a pretty good cv axle explanation pages.
for the price, it is about $70-80 for me to get remanufactured
axles from napa and autozone. From them, it is $120 ea + about

sound, also feel the knocking. usually caused by broken seals of axles.
eventually the grease inside will gradually lose out. metal could be broken
on metal, car wont be able to move.
also, old axles can cause losing traction when turning. be careful.
you can visually see the seal... turn your steering all the way, see if
the rubber seal if ripped. google on how an axle looks like.. good luck! |

不是axle, 因为sharp left turn, right turn, U turn总是有很大噪音，而且抖动。
所以今天去修车铺看了下, 试驾完了给的报价是换front Drive Axle， 要350刀左右。
大家说说一般换这个要多少钱，要350刀属不属于抢钱 |

shop (about$70) apiece, the labor would be one hour.
Two axle assemblies at about $140.
Labor at 2 hour ($160).
Total: $300.

没有听到任何响声。准备找个小dealer换，需要自己买，advanced auto part网站上的
cv axle评价都很差。肿麽办呢？是需要全部换还是换零件？
另外这个cv axle漏油的毛病大么？

you can cut the inner boots and remover the long axle rod in the middle.

居然还有一堆人跟在屁股后面叫好。大叔然后狠谦逊的指点了一番，俨然成了DIY大牛
了。不得不感慨一下牛人的自信心那不是盖的。不好意思，看了那电动的impact drive
和黄黄的purolator oil filter, 我实在不厚道的忍不住笑了。
赶着这两天天气暖和了，正好我也有个05的odyssey touring.两边的driving axle也都
漏油了，不是boot破了，而是绑住boot两头的strap松了，原装的俩driving axle,对于
168K miles的车来说,已经很不错了。advanceautoparts $80一根，用上$30coupon, 到
手$53x2. 过程就不累述了，标准流程，拆lower ball joint,拆nut, 把outer joint拿
出来，再把innner joint撬出来。不同的是，一根2feet的pry bar就解决所有问题，
driver side直接就撬出来了，passenger 一边要插进去敲的，几下搞定。实在没有勇

换了，总有一天会break，换一下总共得400刀，我过去看了下就只看得出cv boot已经
裂开来了，其他也看不出什么名堂。不知他说要换drive axles的意思是不是指cv
joint暴露在外面之后就随时可能坏掉，还是其他什么部件会出问题？不知道这问题有
多严重唉 |

润滑油全流出来了，黑黑的洒得到处都是。
打算DIY把CV joint axle换掉。
因为经常DIY，基本工具都有，在网上订了一个25"的break bar，20刀。
另外还定了一个CV joint axle，大概55刀.
还从local 店买了一套前刹的break pad，
一个wheel hub assembly (担心wheel bearing也坏了)
到时有必要顺手换上。
估计还需要一下一些工具：
1) 30mm加长套筒，用来卸wheel hub的螺丝。
2) bearing puller，如果换wheel hub，需要用。
3) 一种鱼叉形的工具，不知道名字，用来卸lower control arm的.
打算精心准备两周，larbor day的长周末动手，之后来报告并贴pp。
各位有经验的帮忙看看，有什么要注意的吗？

修日车美车的修车店则人工便宜不少，所以想问一下德系车日系车换CV Axle的活儿
是不是类似？如果区别不是很大的话就想找家修日系车的修车店换掉算了。

in pretty great shape，但是有几项问题：
1. Left and right outer CV joint boot torn, recommendation是replace the left
and right front CV axle assembly。费用600
2. air cleaner element to be dirty, recommendation是replace air filter
element，费用25.95
3. windshield wiper blades streaking, recommendation是replace wiper blades，
费用19.99
其中后面两项都是Caution，第一项是fail。所以他们建议我尽快更换前面的两个axle
。可是这个要600块啊，请问大家一下，这东西为啥要这么贵，有无必要在mazda
dealer换？是否可以在其它店里换更便宜些？ |

今天早上刚去换的，原本只想换CV BOOTS和JOINTS，后经老板推荐，把整个AXLE都换了
，换了前面两个，但是之后车子开起来刹到底就会clicking的打脚，感觉刹不稳
开回去找老板，老板说是装AXLE的时候手脏，有dirt，所以刹到底的时候车身会滑，一
滑就ABS了，多刹几次就好了，然后给我清理了几下，后来再刹确实ABS频率低了很多，
但是还会有这种问题
以前刹车从来没有这种问题，现在开起车子心惊胆战的，刹车远远的就要开始踩，怕踩
晚了急了就ABS了
咋办啊？车版大神们帮忙分析一下....
明天要开300mi，心里挺怕的，万一在高速上急刹车又ABS了... |

bushing 和axle assemble要换了, bushing 我也觉得确实要换，车轮过小坑，或者路
面有裂痕就能听见哐哐响的声音。
但是我觉得axle asseblem应该没问题，毕竟转弯的时候没有咯吱向，除了alignment

时师傅说rear spring holder锈的太厉害，建议找人焊接，找了几家welding shops都
不肯干这个活，只好去junk yard买了rear axle，花了250；labor有人要收300刀，应
该是比较公道的价格，不过想br />
dealer那里花25买了1对新螺栓）；另外被迫剪掉了ABS Sensor的线，打算把junk yard
的ABS Sensor换上，金属线铰链+电工胶带应该能安全使用ABS了吧？
的连接螺丝、还有两侧减震和几个悬挂螺丝。但是经受过东北部十年盐雪腐蚀的悬挂螺
丝、再加上大约150～200磅重的后轴，真做起来还是有相当难度的。到目前为止，花了
十几个小时才卸掉后轴；几br />
想做的话，最好找个人帮忙，准备好工具，需要大号的floor jack（撑到19寸以上）、
high lift jack stands、breaker bar，可能也要准备好加长金属管、火炬、第二个
jack或jack stands。
用jack/jack stands顶住传动轴和后轴“南瓜”，否则一旦拆掉螺丝，这两个上百磅的

那端死活撬不出来。我这车（2002 Buick Regal）只有一个角度能把撬棒塞到CV axle
housing尽端与变速箱中间，可无论手掰脚踹都没有出来的意思。不知诸位有没有比较

向会比较好些。
另外有个办法：找2个大号的一字螺丝刀，从axle的两侧分别用锤子轻轻敲进去。你用1
个撬棍的话受力不是正向外的，用2个的话能让受力方向好一些。 |

潮。修车铺建议两边都换axle seal，一共要3小时labor，500多刀。另外一家

今天换drive axle,先下掉了driver一边，然后拿螺丝刀伸进洞里顶住另一边使劲敲，
想把passenger那边打出来。敲的时候
方向有点偏，结果螺丝刀卡在洞里了，后来倒是用slide hammer拉出来了。但是现在车
打到P挡咯啦咯啦的响，是不是把
里面什么东西打变形了,gear卡不上了？其他档位没问题。洞里有个轴，查了手册叫
pinion mate shaft。前后卡了两次，第一次用一字的卡住了，拔出来车打着没问题。后来换了十字的，使劲打，感觉进
去好多，结果一看还是卡住了，后来拔出来P档就开始咯啦咯啦了。照片是第一次一字driver卡住的样子的，十字的没来得
及照就拔出来了。
这种该怎么修啊，店里会要多少？我在想是不是把东西装好了出去跑两圈就gear in了。有点怀疑是pinion mate shaft偏
了些，我想尝试从相反的方向把螺丝刀卡进去看能不能还原它的位置。哪位懂trans的，进来说说。
在车挂在D和R时，这个shaft和drive axle是同步转动的，但是N档居然也转，但是速度慢很多，这个是正常的么？ |

发帖数: 142 | 46 周末研究一下车车的suspension原理，彻底弄清出了如何拆装drive axle
以及alignment调整的原理。下面简单的讨论一下，大家有什么意见来说说吧。
（抱着shop manual读了半天，感觉比修车安全，不会拧断螺丝。hoho）
首先，alignment主要的调整在upper arm, radius rod以及tie-rod上，
分别对应alignment的三个技术指标，chamber, caster, and toe-in。
具体的含义，参见精华区，以及google上面的搜索。
upper arm属于弹簧上部出来的一个铁块，用来连接ball joint，从而
支持knuckle（比较粗壮的实心铁家伙，赫赫）。上面有两个螺丝，连接
upper arm与ball joint，这两个螺丝松开以后，因为upper arm上面
不是一个圆孔，而是长条形孔，因此可以移动ball joint固定的位置，
从而调整chamber。
radius rod从车前部一个横着的承重铁板连接到lower arm上，通过
调节靠近这个承重块的地方的一个螺丝，可以控制其长短，实现不同的caster |

发帖数: 21 | 47 94 v6 xle，年初就发现两边的boot都烂了，一直没空动手，就拖到了现在。今天好不容
易是个好天，拉了个朋友从上午一直折腾到下午。
零件和工具：从autozone买的cct翻新的drive alxe，69块一个。质量还过得去，里面有
详细的tech tips，不过不带cotter pin，买轴的时候别忘了稍上一盒assorted sized。
顺便再借个30mm的soket和tie rod puller。一罐brake cleaner。
拆卸：手册上讲axle nut是217 ft
lb，挂上手刹，前轮打好眼，用了个三尺多的1/2break bar晃了几下就打开了。值得指出
的是这个车inboard joint是用六个螺丝和side gear shaft（左边）和intermediate
shaft（右边）固定上的。手册上讲要把它们拆下来再分离，否则会很难装回去。实际上
根本没有那么困难。完全可以只拆六个螺丝。螺丝拧掉后还要钻到下面再joint cover边
上稍微敲一下才会完全分开。
安装：买来的轴outboard
joint是装好的，inboard只把subassembly装 |
