市场才传出安华高科技(Avago)正与博通(Broadcom)洽谈收购事宜不久，两家公司在美
国时间5月28日发表声明正式宣布双方已达成合并协议， 而收购金额创下史上新高，总
价达370亿美元(约1.1兆新台币)；这桩合并案将在未来催生一家市值770亿美元、年营
收达150亿美元的“多元化通讯半 导体供应商”，铁定能在全球前十大IC业者排行榜上
占有一席之地。
根据双方最终协议，Avago将以170亿美元现金，以及约1.4亿股的 Avago普通股进行交
易──以Avago在2015年5月27号的股票收盘价计算、总价约200亿美元──此收购案总
价约370亿美元。而 Broadcom的流通股持有人，每股可换得54.50美元现金以及合并后

principle." You're right though "principle" is always a noun, while "
principal" can be both noun and adj. But see the following use from
Wikipedia. I think it is appropriate, considering the principal's role in
Broadcom. FYI, Broadcom's technical ladder includes "Technical Director", "
Principal", "Staff", "Engineer". There are also finer grades within each

在OREGON的INTEL做了4年，在某个领域做的比较深。本人硕士，同组的都是博士毕业的
和年纪更大的SCIENTISTS，偏RESEARCH。刚进INTEL的时候7万，现在8万5。SINGLE，没
有女朋友，31岁。有个TOWNHOUSE，06年买的18万，现在估价15-16万。如果RELOCATE的
话，我的DEPENDENCE就是这个房子。BTW,有绿卡了.
BROADCOM比较POSITIVE，面试的DIRECTOR说我"FLEW BY"他们两天的INTERVIEW，现在问
我要多少钱。我对加州行情不了解。曾经听说小硕一进公司类似INTEL的在加州就是8/9
万。
请大家诚恳给个IDEA，应该要多少比较合适。我挺喜欢OREGON的，人杰地灵，没有消费
税。对加州的中国美食也没有兴趣大到非加州不去。我是 |

cisco和broadcom都在湾区，ARM在Austin
cisco要去的时候才能定下来什么组
ARM是processor组，还挺感兴趣的
毕业以后还是想往software的方向发展，但是也想去看看硬件方面的公司是什么样的
intern的待遇三家都差不多，现在基本排除了broadcom，在cisco和ARM之间还是挺纠结
的，求建议~ |
