发帖数: 913 | 1 我感觉三号木还是得在tee上或lie特别好(球架在草丛上)的时候用, 也就是说可以hit
up的时候权当小driver使. 这时候本来15度的loft, 会增加到17度.
在fairway上, fairway bunker里或球埋在草里, 要想打到180yd+, 还得靠18,19度的
hybrid或五号木, 并且是hit down, 才能起球. 这时候loft会减少到16,17左右. 如果
强用三号的话, 就是13度的loft, 除非是perfect的contact, 否则有点太难起球了. 由
于是跟长铁一样的hit down, 我一般宁愿多打点divot, 也不要top（除非前面有长长的
fairway可以滚), 并且要smooth swing.
Pro们的三号木都是13度的, 即便是Tiger也是靠五号木拿Eagle, 三号木都是拿来在不
能打Driver的情况下Tee off.
归根结底长杆就是gamble, 要是前面penalty大于reward, 例如有hazard, 要求carry,
有树枝, blind shot, 稳健的打法是layup.

With wind and luck, I made a blind draw shot with unknown amount of roll, and I found my ball in the middle of fairway on the other side of hill.
I saw some friends chose the red line, aim at the first cut rough at the turn, fade it a bit, the uneven fairway will leave the ball in the middle of fairway short of cart path |

off, causing your weight to hang back on your right side.
I had the same problem with pushing my drive to the right when keeping the
elbow close to the waist during the down swing.
Since I have mostly eliminated my ugly duck hook. Now I aim my drive to the
left of the fairway:
1) if I push my drive, it will be in the middle of the fairway
2) if I hit it straight it will be on the left side of the fairway

发帖数: 904 | 5 东海岸好球场众多，住在这里如果不利用这些有利资源总觉得对不起自己。所以每年除
了在自己的球会打球，总会和朋友或熟人一同去附近的一些著名球场去试试运气。
球场之所以著名，除了出自名设计师之手，主要就是景色优美，挑战性高。昨天去的
Pete Dye所设计的Pound Ridge Golf Club就是一例。这个球场并不算超长，black tee
才7171码，可是这个是货真价实的7171码，其中比较变态的是大概三分之一的洞都要求
至少200码以上carry over water/hazard，最远的是第九洞，required carry off the
tee是251码。整个球场的fairway和greens都是contoured，green上没有一个putt是直
的，如果30feet以上的putt很可能会有double brick，很难读清楚。除了长度，有些
fairway还超窄，比如二号洞的driver落点附近的fairway只有二十码宽，周围都是
bunkers和长草。
昨天开局不错，头8个洞5个GIR，一个birdie。9号洞五杆洞三杆到果岭边坡上的长草中
，可是辛酸从这里开始，因 |

距离相当于
Hybrid，比fairway wood还不如）。每次开球时想用Fairway wood开算了，但是总不信
邪用
Driver，结果10杆有8杆找不着Fairway。
看样子破90的愿望只有等到Driver打好了才能实现。也不知道是猴年马月。 |

我总结了一下：
1) DRIVER 技术一定要过硬， 一定要打到 FAIRWAY上。目前我技术还没有形成。
2)学会从 FAIRWAY以外的长草里， 把球打回到较远的FAIRWAY上面。目前我还不太清楚
怎么来打。用什么杆子。
3) COURSE 里面最好一个人打， 这样压力小， 干扰少， 另外时间也多。
4) 不要 WALK， 要坐 CART， 不要把宝贵的精力放在 和比赛结果不相关的事情上。 |

现在我大概是HIGH 80S的水平,最近几次都是87-90左右,AVERAGE大概6-8GIR, 5-7个
FAIRWAY, PUTTING36-40. 弱点比较明显,主要是SHORT GAME跟PUTTING.举例子说,上周
一场球:跟一个不认识的美国小伙打,感觉他的DRIVING到处飞,我7个FAIRWAY,他肯定不
比我多,但我6个3 PUTTS, 他一个没有.最后我90,他80.感觉LONG GAME上的差距不太大,但
SHORT GAME比他差多了.他有几个20-30FT小鸟都是LIP OUT.
2012的目标:
HANDICAP:争取能稳定在MID TO LOW 80,
GIR:提高1-2个 PER ROUND
FAIRWAY: 50%,关键是MISS不能太偏

Finished the round about 3:40PM, only had a hot dog along the way. Hungry to
death.
played white tee 6290 yards, 71.6/129
2 pars at two easy par 3s (One GIR with 2 putts, another one made a 20+ feet
putt)
2 bogeys, both par 4s
8 doubles,
4 triples
2 +4s
(3 penalty shots included)
Total 110, inline with my expectation for 1st time visit

发帖数: 211 | 11 oh ya, wind definately count. This reminds me once i played a hole with a
strong left-to-right wind. Left is ocean and right the hazard. If I hit it
along the fairway, it will for sure blow away to the right side hazard. So
instead i aimed like 45 degree to the left of the fairway. And see the ball
directly head to the ocean, then make a wild curve and landed on the fairway
softly. Did not get much distance, but happy to see the ball flight as
expected.

Right side has a big pond and have a risk of OB(highway, fence). but if you
draw too much to the left side of the fairway, your second shot will not
easy if the pin is on the left.
I will try hit a hybrid with a draw aiming the left-edge of right side pond.
usually 3 hybrid draw will give me 200-210 yard. The second shot will be a
8iron 130-140 cut to approach left or middle of the green, depends on the
pin location.

是没有出界球没有罚杆没有+4，虽然偶尔也有+3。球在树底下就不直攻，把球打40~50
码到fairway上，也就多一杆。如果fairway窄，我会选择3木或4铁开球。几个par,一两

I dont have my golfshot sync to my email. I couldn't post the score card.
But today, when I check my score cards, (mostly to check San Juan Oaks
scores), I was shocked by the stats.
I have 46 in the front 9, +9, 2 par, 5 bogey, 2 double, 100% on fairway, 0%
GIR, 16 putts (2 1-putt for par-saving);
on back 9, 45, +10, 8 bogey in a row, and last hole (18th) double. 86% on
fairway, 0% GIR, 18 putts.

我的主场每个四杆洞和五杆洞都有fairway bunkers，而且大多是两侧都有。每次打球
都有开球进沙坑的时候。
如果在主场从白梯开球，很多fairway bunders 就直接开过了，感觉有点像作弊，所以
基本都是黑梯开球。 |

发帖数: 2057 | 17 记得Tiger还是谁说过：“打直线是最难的”，一般人的球路，不是偏左就是偏右。还
有一个文章讲对于一般选手来讲，最好是练一种球路：Fade或者Draw，他的观点是假如
你练直线，你还是可能偏左或偏右，以开球为利，假如你的左右偏差范围各是30码，打
直线的需要一个宽达60码的Fairway才有足够缓冲，而练曲球的只要30码。
实际比赛中情况更复杂，比如有的时候，要求你把球放到Fairway右侧以获得最好的下
一杆进攻位置，而右侧fairway外是Hazard，这时候fade选手一般描偏中间，这样基本
落点在中部到右侧；直线选手比较纠结，苗右侧怕打出fade，描中间怕打出Draw；Draw
选手脸发黑，因为他基本没有办法把球放到右侧，只能稍稍瞄右，希望球落在中部，假
如球落到右边，那一定不是故意的。
这些对业余选手影响不大，对高手而言，胜负本就在毫厘之间，能多掌握一种武器，一
杆之差价值百万千万，有理由不好好练嘛。 |

洛杉矶县警局核桃钻石吧分局27日下午接到报警，称有一群中国留学生在核桃市一家旅
馆前“玩枪、射击”，警方如临大敌，派出至少四名警员到场，空中还有巡逻直升机支

目前我在rutgers piscataway上学，每天都要去学校lab。女朋友在manhattan工作，每
天都要上班。
需要找一处双向交通方便且安全的房子。我可以开车，所以地点尽量就着她坐公共交通
方便的地方。
她之前住new port，现在住port imperial ferry边上。这两个地方commute到纽约都十
分方便，生活便利安全。但最大的问题是我往返开车去rutgers距离远，靠近tunnel高
峰堵，而且开车各种成本高，人也太累，尤其是忙累了再开这儿远回家，事故率和车的
维修率都将大幅上升，不是长久之计。
我们沿着火车线一路找过一遍房子，沿途的town都不熟悉，很多感觉乱不安全，唯一感
觉还行的是rahway,但那里的community感觉太像老年公寓，最终放弃。
最近几周，集中在new brunswick和edison火车站辐射区域内找。NB town上有不少high
rise，条件也不错，但是治安不敢恭维，尤其是晚上得从火车站走回家这段路，真是

with control. trying to hit fairways at least 50% of the time.
这周的练习好像有成效，今天下午这场球三个par 5洞 birdie 了两个，其中一个是565码
，hit a long drive which missed the fairway on the left by only a yard, then
hit a rescue 2 hybrid to front center of the green, two putted for birdie. 另
一个是475码的short par 5, hit driver and 8 iron, had a 8 footer for eagle but
missed by less than an inch. 今天没有风，球场condition is perfect.

acurate as you are. the day i shot under 80 on a similar course, i only hit 3
out 14 fairways, but i scrambled extremely well. lately i have been about 30%
on faiway hits. still got a lot of work to do.

常好，明年一定继续作他的门生。
最近这五六场球，最差的84杆，最好的77杆，丢杆的最主要的地方还是开球的准确性不
够。以77杆的这场球为例，6756 yards par 70, rated 72.9/136, played from the
back tip, fairway hit是 6 out of 14, 9 GIR, 已经属于自己不错的发挥。putting
发挥不算好，34推，失去了六七次六尺到二十尺距离的抓鸟机会。多亏铁杆,bunker和
chipping超水平发挥，才得以击破80杆。而八十杆以上的球，经常是因为fairway hit
太少，short game发挥不好所致。总的来说，这个球季属于循环上升的状态，swing做
了比较大的改动，short game也有长足长进。虽然driver还不够准确，但是已找到症结
所在和改正方法，相信练习后会有所改善。
今年的各类比赛打得比去年少，但取胜率比去年高。觉得比赛心理承受上比以前好，不

昨天下午2个小时10个holes后的统计数据. Green in Regulation是我现在唯一追求的
数据。
上次和一个老人家Richard打球，他看我经常用3iron tee off那些360码一下的par 4,
问我为什么？我说我为了追求fairway hit的数据，他说那你应该用pitching wedge。
我3 iron tee off遇见一些硬些的fairway有230+的距离，剩下的130正好是我最喜欢的
pitching wedge 或9 iron的距离，多好！
与别人打球最恨的事，别人cheating. 在我眼里，breaking rule也可以，我们每天都
在做这样的事，反正都是打着玩的。最恨的就是和别人算分时cheating。
昨天打球时遇见一个本地社区大学的baseball球员，当然，非要和我竞赛，打那么差不
说，击了mullgan后不算，还振振有词说:sometimes, I do that.

错（S杆60码，P杆110码，7号铁150-160，几个wood也都还行，方向也比较正），可是4
-6号铁就都在160-170这个范围里面，不会再远了。driver也是只在180-230这个范围。
很郁闷，因为par4/5的洞总得多花一杆在fairway上，所以现在还是在90多杆开外徘徊。
自己感觉是球有些topspin，所以飞不远。不知道怎么样可以改进呢？是club face接触
球的位置还是followthrough的问题？或者什么别的？

用了两种完全不同的swing (这话有点夸张，还有大于70%的fairway hit). 本轮他也用
了两中不同的swing, 区别是第2轮练50%的fairway hit都没有。
他参加的比赛太少了！ |

With the 70% goal, your position at PGA tour will be
26th in Fairway hit.
4th in GIR
1st in putts
With the 75% goal, you will be
3rd in Fairway hit.
1st in GIR
1st in putts
All stats based on 2007 PGA season, hopefully, i didn't mis-interpret any
stats above. :)

, one of the 4 pros, I forgot his name though, actually practice the driver
without the tee sometime. And he can almost get the same distance, just a
little shorter. He said it helps his tee shot. Hehe. I also saw it once on
TV that Tiger used his driver on fairway, and the next day, my friend, Joe,
hit a driver on fairway for the second shot of a long par 5 and got the ball
almost on the green.

still, you need to take advantage of the biggest weapon in your bag to bring
your game to next level.
I suggest you can use the drill I always recommend: chipping balls using
your fairway woods (hybrid) on the carpet at your home, try to feel the
contact, remember how you make the solid contact, then exaggerate your
movement, from 1/8 (1/4) swing to 1/4 swing, half swing and finally full-
swing.

i feel he is just the opposite side of me. i agree driver is the biggest
weapon. I always used driver as much as i can. the best hole works for me
now is driver + short iron (or p wedge)
But the most troublesome distance for me now is around 150, with 180 or
above, i might switch to hybrid or fairway woods. for around 150, somehow i
think i can use 4,5,6,7 depending on the wind, bunker, water, ... and my

turn out, it doesnt fit well with me at all.
I checked Taylor made CGB driver and 3wood, dont like its driver at all, but
have good feeling on it 3wood.
Can anyone else comment on the swing difference makes the different
selection on fairway woods and driver?
now my driver, fairway woods, hybrid are all from different manufactures.

even though the fairways are quite open, I predict there are still at 2 or 3
420-yard par4s, and 2 180-yard par3s.
if you have a 220-240 yards off-tee, it means you need another 3 or 4iron
for the 420 yards par4s. or 4 or 5iron for the par3s. if it's in the
mountain area, the 6300-yard plays much more longer than what the number
tells.
i assume the green is the most difficult part. i saw some videos for the
golf course, the fairway is kind of open. |

困扰。
他driver 开球，在我记忆中看的2轮，就2次击中fairway。
他approach shot也不是那么好。因为front pin， 一般都有slope，所以比较容易滚出
fairway，还有就是他用些比较冒险的进攻角度（和他开球的落点也有关系。）

watch a while when phil,ak,davis love iii play that hole.
camera angle is down the line, davis love play 3 wood on that par4 with water on the left side, the fairway is so narrow from DTL. feel like have to be with 3 degree of deviation, and no sidespin at all to put ball on fairway (slight sidespin for a shot over 250 yards is going to turn a lot, searching for ball in water or inside bushes).
davis love rehearse the shot exactly like me, step back, do one rehe |
