哪个APARTMENT没有internet access? 难道是新盖的楼房？电话公司和CABLE 公司的线
路施工还没完成？ 如果是老楼房，怎么可能没有INTERNET ACCESS ?

我昨天才装上Clear。光上网的话，直观上觉得速度差不多。但是一旦用一些工具比较
的话，Comcast
比Clear 快多了。
比如简单的 cmd, ping yahoo.com
comcast 25 -30ms
clear 100- 150ms
speedtest.net 试了几个server
comcast download - 12.5mps, upload - 3.5mps
clear download - 2.5mps, upload - 0.9mps.
我跟clear chat. 他们让我又是reset, 又是挪modem，又是重新连接，搞了半天。那个
modem也还
是只有一盏灯亮。虽然他们说我的地址应该至少有两个灯。 还让我给他们technical team 再
聊。我想想算了，还是用我的

3）Apple预计近期将推出新的Apple TV，将捆绑NFLX streaming service;
4）NFLX推出iPad/iPhone上的streaming service;
5）Youtube/Google正在和多家Studio商谈，推出pay-per-view服务；
6）Hulu预计今年上市；
7）AMZN在和三家Media公司谈判，希望推出Video Service以对抗NFLX；

到彩色，电影到电视，胶片到录影带，SD到HD，2D到3D，观赏从以前电影屏幕，扩展到
电视，现在又发展到PC，手机和Mobile Device多个屏幕。
现在Internet TV又带来一场革命，Video观赏从以前单向，转变为双向的。以前无论是
电影和电视，因为传输成本问题，都是一定程度上单向广播。例如，无论你有多少 DVD
可以选择，内容是媒体公司制作的，如果受众群小，因为成本问题媒体公司只能放弃。
所以为什么会有炒作？一个原因就是因为成本太高，媒体公司一定要动用全部力量，提
高知名度来获得最大的利润。
感谢过去10年技术进步和带宽价格的大幅下降，用Internet传输Video成为了可能。观
众可以完全自由的选择内容，例如一个在美国的中国人，可以选择观看中国广西的一场
乒乓球比赛；一个Alaska State University毕业生，可以在欧洲观看母校的Football
比赛。这个双向选择的优势是传统传播方式，无法抗衡的，结果就是一旦Internet TV

接到recruiter的邮件， 说对我感兴趣并安排了电话面试， google了一下， 都没有个
正式职位名称， 就叫Internet Marketing Optimization Analytics。
我有统计master， 还有一个偏finance的MBA， 7年工作经验, 目前在一个非金融的公司做很无聊的统计模型。
我本身想进金融领域， 觉得这个位置对将来发展帮助不是很大。

to recommend to anyone. however sometimes u can't get adsl2 from them,
depending on where u live..
evil telstra still plays monopoly in this field, they set up some barrier on
the cable so that u'll have to go via them to get adsl2
I switched to bigpond this week to get fast internet access, they have a
bundle plan of $89(?) for phone and 100g adsl2+ internet - this one is good
if you dont use much of your home phone b |

发帖数: 29846 | 48 一直都有的. 我一直收到cox的信promote 3 in 1. 一百刀一个月. 电话,电视和
internet,那个internet就是25刀的那种,但电视基本就是普通频道而已,一个电影频道,
体育频道都没有. 这里一个类的电影频道比方说showtime就要15刀一个月, 太贵了.
我在NJ的时候Verizon fios, 电话电视intenet 3 in 1,包括所有的电视频道,
internet 45/35才140刀.
什么时候google也来chandler铺个光缆就好了. |

有点迷乎。我家有internet电话，还有internet TV，和3-4个computer及IPad等用
internet，只有电话不用wireless，其它都用。请问各位大侠能否推荐一个不错的
modem？多谢！ |

Comcast 家tv频道有点少选最基本package?
