的offer（同一个领域），需要尽快开始（一个半月以内），公司要给我办O1,请问我是
应该现在file 485，用现在学校的employment offer letter（合同还有半年过期）作
为支持，还是等在公司用O1开始上班以后再file, 用公司的offer letter作为支持，
如果现在file的话，可以提交both 学校和公司的 offer letter吗？

，发现主要问题是都没有展开说，而且缺乏那种“拔高”的语气，最后也没有totality
的总结分析。
我不知道老美是不是都这样，不过就我目前看过的EB1B/A 的sample petition letter
写的都比较慷慨激昂，就连我自己写的NIW petition letter读起来抖感觉很高大上。

Letter （EVL）。其实手上140的EVL也是上个月（八月份）才找HR签的。能不能直接用
这个啊？还是要改个日期？
另外，准备140的时候不光准备了EVL还有Offer Letter。为了Offer Letter上的
permanent position的字眼已经把HR搞毛了。这次485递交的EVL，提到工资，职位就行
了吧？不用交Offer Letter了吧？说白了，不用体现permanent字眼了吧？

verification letter,写上工作时间，公司名，职责和skill set，让我的ex-employer
签字。但前公司明确禁止HR和经理出具任何非公司标准格式的employment
verification letter，也就是不愿意签这个字，只能给标准格式的letter，只标明工
作时间和公司名。其实想想也合理，这种五花八门job discription和skill set的
employment verification letter人家肯定不会签。

letter of employment，应该是补现在的雇主的Employment Verification Letter就可
以了吧。问题是the description of the position比较敏感，填的不好和以前的不相
似，可能被拒？我照着前份工作申请时候的描述填了一份，HR还不乐意签字，在和现公

但是file PERM之前，律师一般会让你吧VOS Letter都准备好，要不然PERM过了140还是
过不了。
但是后来规矩改了，file PERM的时候也要VOS Letter，据说是在一个memo里面改的规
矩，我一个朋友就因为file PERM的时候没有交VOS Letter，PERM被拒了，
reconsideration也没过，平白浪费了1年时间。 |

验（我之前律师告诉我的），这个对I140 也不是必须的，但是如果开始没有提交的话
，140 process过程有可能会RFE 让你提供这个letter。这种RFE出现的话就必须提供了。
如果你现在实在拿不到，只能硬着头皮和律师商量看能不能没有这个letter直接提交，
这有一定的风险。
同时，可以继续想办法找前雇主问问。不管用什么办法，还是拿到一份比较靠谱。
另外，本公司另外一个同事没有这个letter 140也批准了。
我就是提供信息供参考，你的情况还是问律师比较好，如果觉得这个律师不靠谱，可以
换一个律师。 |

听说看房子最好准备好贷款的pre-approval letter，这样一旦看中可以很快下offer。
我们是新手没经验,就直接到开户行要求办pre-approval letter。按银行loan officer
的要求递交材料几天后，就收到pre-approval letter.但是上面写的是conditional
approved.然后loan officer催着我们到他们网站再交一些材料。说是这样可以fully
underwritten.
我们还没找到合适的房子，也没决定一定要在开户行贷款。想请问对贷款熟悉的大牛如
下几个问题：
1）fully underwritten 有什么好处？是不是说一定能向开户行贷到款？这样下offer
时可以不要loan contingency?
2）如果fully underwritten 了，是不是说只能向开户行贷款，不可以再找其他银行了？

话就没问题了。我的工作都是email offer。正式offer letter是在第一天orantation
时候和其他文件一起在个package里的。
我的第一个工作还神呢，OPT4个月都没下来，楞干了两个月。HR的都急了，说你的OPT
不下来我们没法给你发正式的offer letter呀。我的OPT花了六个半月才批准，用临时
OPT干了两个月。
泼个冷水呀，就算发了paper offer letter，也可以撤回的。当然那时极品了，俺们田
纳西人不干这事儿。 |

跟HR谈好了base是13万，于是收到offer letter后我就签了。过了几天才发现offer上
base写错了。我该怎么办？
offer letter上写的是“$5000 paid every other week, equal to $130,000 per
year”。我算了一下：每两周5000，那就是每个月1万，就是每年12万，所以比谈好的
的少了一万。

仔细想了想，每两周5000其实不等于每个月1万，因为每个月都多于两周。应该这么算
：每年52个星期，于是每年pay我26次，于是5000*26=13万。这就没问题了。原来小学
数学是体育老师教的。
