student member 就是给学生的优惠，除了会费少很多，其他和普通member一样。
这个就是交钱就入会，又不是什么荣誉头衔。而且学生毕业以后，自动成为member,
想要少交钱做 student member都不行。
senior member 需要同行推荐一下，但只要混够年头了都没啥问题。

建议每个版面设置 VIP member，数目可以是 1-3 名。(E.g. for EB23 版，p8388 和
rocketsfan 可以成为第一批 members).
VIP members 将在所属的版面上享有一些特权，例如每个月定期收到 20 (or 50)个伪
币, etc... 而作为义务 (totally volunteerly, not obligated)，VIP member 应该
不定期的到所属版面回答一些疑难或 popular 的问题。
VIP member 可以 resign。如果此事发生，那当任版主可以递补新的 VIP member, 这
类似于美国的联邦大法官制度。
这个应该能够所有各方 win-win，这可以加强 VIP memebers 对所属版面的归属感。这也好像是很多英文论坛常采用的一个有效的方法。

Harvard to Bar Members of Single-Gender Clubs From Leadership in Official
Groups
The policy barring students from holding leadership positions in official
groups while being members of what the school calls “unrecognized, single-
gender social organizations,” also extends to the younger fraternities and
sororities. Students will also not receive the dean’s endorsements for
elite scholarships and fellowships if they’re found to be members of the
groups.

NIH申请给达到了一个special emphasis panel (没有放我自荐的最合适的panel）, 查
了一下，是个member conflict panel。问题是我不是如何study section 的standing
member。我只是今年2月份以前去过3次我自荐的最合适的panel，这样不应该算member
conflict吧。
有希望request re-assignment吗？这种member conflict panel怎么样啊？ |
