里的管理层很深，政治斗争是学校比不了的。
但是national lab的工资较学校高，不用教书，如果稳定了可以养老。不过也看具体的
title。很多DOE的lab有facility scientist 和lab scientist的区别 （不同实验室具
体名称可能略有不同），前者工资来自hard money,但要花更多时间提供user service
(>50% effort)；后者工资更多来自soft money，funding压力也不小。认识不少成功的
后者，都有附近大学大牛的支持，没有这层关系想独立很难。
如果未来希望自己独立，还是学校更好。
当然如果你导师是UCBerkeley的大牛，你要能在LBNL找到division scientist的位子，
你还是会很爽。 |

开Jackson national的Roth IRA.说这家公司的mutual fund选择多，回报高，但是这家
不像Fidelity Vanguard可以自己开，要通过这位代理朋友开， 他只收公司的
commission,不收客户的钱。 他show给我看可以选择譬如说 JNL/S&P 4 Fund这样的比
SP 500要回报好一些的fund。我的401K是fidelity,所以本来想Roth IRA也在他家开。
但是现在被他这么说有点动心了，不知道大家有没有听说过这个Jackson national？有

Local小公司最近有opening. 招人的和现在老板认识（老板也知道我得到了那个
fellowship）,建议我去谈谈。见了一面，感觉这个小公司有发展。招人的人也希望我
再做一个大一点规模的presentation
现在很矛盾，想跟小公司说，先去National Lab学一年，明年再跟他们联系？也不知道

个卡好像要在infinity的profile下面再重新注册一个账户（界面不接受已有的账户
login）。我平常出差和自己出行都用national。那请问我要是重新注册的这个在
