有些医院会要求translator的certificate,但是很多医院不需要。

发信时只敢写observership。可我的家庭医生挺好，跟了几次后主动让我自己take
history， 体检病人，写patient note， 最后让她review。 可她每周只能带我半天。
诊所里还有其他医生，看上去挺nice，跟他们问过，也愿意带我半天，按我PCP的方式
。平安无事过了一个多月。突然有个nurse practioner提出什么malpractice
insurance的问题，在诊所说我没有malpractice insurance，可否touch病人？然后就
是clinical manager 联系保险公司询问我到底可否touch病人？然后给我答复，一会儿
说可以，一会儿说不可以。然后clinical manager 要了份我的CV。我最近的CV上有列
他们诊所的经历为externship。他们见了说不行这样写，因为他们不属于teaching
site，所以这些hands-on experience 不该算是externship。那该算是什么？该怎么写

Many PDs don't mind if clinical observation is listed as volunteer
experience. Personal statement is most likely the last place PDs will look
at.
The requirement for observership or externship depends on individual
programs. They may want you to have ECFMG certification in some programs,
but not in others. |

如果没有match上，可以找些research physician， research scientist之类的工作。
收入也很不错的。 |

。在医院泡多了，对医院的系统也就有一定的了解了。等于是同时做了半个

My fisrt cs in May failed, and I did not expect that. Before that I was
confident with my spoken English, not very good, but should be good enough
to pass cs. I began my accent training class with an American teacher in May
after cs test because I realized that my accent was so different from
Americans from my observership experience. After my first class,I felt so
bad with my accent and foretold that my cs would not pass. There are huge
difference in pronunciation |

- The earlier the better. Late October is considered "too late" for most
programs.

haven't got any response yet. Now, I realized how important it is to have
the certificate before the application. I spent so much time on observership

Tufts Medical Center. He is very positive for it. Now we are recruiting full
time
Requirement includes passing USMLE step 1 and CSA. It is better to have
ECFMG certificate. Translation service between English and Chinese is
occasionaly required for some health providers.
OB/GYN specialty. OB/GYN background is highly considered. |
