年的一篇nature引用也没有挂上去。这些都是后来google查出来的（给童鞋们提个醒，
scholar google也有漏引的情况）。如果google scholar漏引用了怎么办？如何补上？

发帖数: 525 | 2 一点经验写在这里，我的引用因为比较少，所以很纠结被google scholar漏掉的引用，
这些引用都在google里发现的。我的做法是：把google scholar和scopus的引用直接打
印网页，然后另用表格将漏掉的引用单独列出来附在后面。如下：
Exbit xx. Dr. XX’s Supplementary Independent Citations of (PAPER NAME) from
Peer-reviewed Journals, Books and Patents from Google (has not
been updated to Google Scholar and Scopus)

一般都会查到doi号，在source title里列出来。

google scholar统计出来只有18个，剩下来6个，我都能找到全文，但是就是不在
google scholar上？
看了rfe，基本能否定的都否定了，打算找律师，现在一个律师回信，看了我的
credentials以后，说太忙，让我另寻高明，深受打击啊。

1，列citation证据的时候，就把在google scholar里my citation里所呈现出来的阿
all publication list打印出来就行了吧？有统计总citation数目和每篇的citation数
目，要不要把每篇具体的citation list打印出来。
---我是这样做的。(i) 把在google scholar里my citation里所呈现出来的阿all
publication list打印出来; (ii)在search每一篇paper时(我是只searchy一作的)，会
出现的paper被引用的总数，把这页打印出来，用萤光marker在cited by XXXX 笔标上
。然后点击总数，把所有的list打印出来。因为我只作一作，所以工作量没有那么大。
2，只显示citation，没有区别自引和他引，1st-authored, 要一个一个手动去掉吗，
还有一个一般问题，那些引用，各种统计什么的，都是从网页上直接打印出来的吗，看
到很多Petition letter，从来没见过具体的exhibit

的, 都牛 我有看到800个citation 还被RFE的, 你准备得不好, 如果移民官心情不好,
真的要鸡蛋里挑骨头, 还是可以挑的.Google Scholar的citation是被移民官认可的.
他们本身就建议applicant either 拿 Google Scholar 或者ISI 来证明自己的

1. 用 google scholar 的citation，好像没有research ID那么多功能，想说多少个
country，多少个institution 都引用了我的paper，就是自己直接把所有的citation查
出来，然后整理成一个表吗？。那样的话不是打出来就是一个word 或者excel表格么？
是不是不够official？
2.关于institution，如果paper里列为不同的affiliation，但是是一个大学的不同部
门（XX center vs XX department），这样算一个institute还是2个？

science 是158个。
但是所不好的一点是google scholar上有些中文的引用，得翻译。
然后用web of science用关键词 进行citation 分析， 证明 the most cited paper
on this topic among ＊＊＊ articles in ISI database。但是律师说最好都用一个
数据库进行分析，但是如果用google scholar查关键词进行分析的话, 没办法用
citation次数排名。 |

看肯定是Google Scholar要好。但是后面的数据分析包括灯油图的制作，Web of
Science都会更方便、清晰一些，分析工具也更全面。请教这种情况，我应该用哪个比
较数据库的数据比较好。
另外想请问，能不能引用次数用Google Scholar Report，顺便提及Web of Science，
然后解释为何有差别，制作灯油图时还是使用Web of Science?

看到网上有大牛在他的EXHIBITS LIST中提到 “List of Dr. XXX’s publications
indexed by Google Scholar".
请问如何在GOOGLE SCHOLAR 生成这样的LIST啊？
我在 "MY CITATION" 中倒是比较清楚的看到了所有自己发表过的文章， 但是不知道怎
样能够生成一个漂亮的LIST并打印出来。

你就列出author, citation, article title...
另外，如果你WOK的independent citation与google scholar你自己找到的差的不远，
你也可以在用WOK提供的数据佐证一下。Google scholar出了错引/重复引用，还会引用
dissertation. |

scholar profile page is enough. 另外还打印了我能下载到的引文的首页和
reference页，但是是缩印的（一页上印四张），而且这些并不是全部的引用，所以看
起来要比google scholar显示的citation少。因为是工程专业所以本身citation并不多
（~70），少这些看起来还是挺明显的。
求助各位版友：我需不需要把google scholar上每篇文章的引用页都打印出来？LD说这
种IO上网随手就能查到的东西没关系，但是IO真的会去查吗？

用法：
0. 安装Python和BeautifulSoup (参考Dockerfile)
1. 修改myconfig.py，填写自己的Google Scholar主页
2. 运行main.py即可
会用Docker的人可以用做好的image。
缺点：
1. 需要会运行Python程序，抱歉没有精力做GUI。
2. Google Scholar会封IP，这个没有做破解。我自己论文引用不多，多跑几次就下完了
3. 为了减少被封的次数，故意运行比较慢，2分钟左右下载一篇
优点：
1. 自动。有耐心的话多试几次多跑几天就能跑完，节省很多手工劳动。
2. 可以下载引用文献的PDF （修改myconfig.py中配置）
3. 支持断点续下，被封了以后换个时间地点重新运行main.py就行
有兴趣的同学可以改进一下，谢谢。 |

的。
跟他email联系了几次，还没有确定他如果来了做什么研究课题。感觉他对自己来了之
后到底想做什么不是特别在意，虽然还处于联系的早期，就问我如果确定来的话，他什
么时候能够拿到邀请信，这样他好去办签证。
请问有经验的大侠，这种情况一般是这样处理的？他们过来做visiting scholar，有什
么手续办的，最我自己有什么 pro 和 con 的？

1.她本人申请语言学校或者visiting scholar，带孩子出来，孩子可以入学吗？
2.孩子申请学校，妈妈出来陪读
哪一种更可行？考虑签证，费用等问题。。

发帖数: 48 | 43 之前在欧洲做过实习，当时按照ISS的指导，申请了‘fake’ CPT，也就是走了CPT的流
程，可以维持F1身份，但是据ISS的counselor说，这样不算进CPT的时间。当时的新I20
里面最后一页也没有备注CPT，只在第一页的comment写上internship的时间。
可是最近有同组同学从ISS的另一个counselor那里得知的信息是，他之前在国外做
visiting scholar时申请的CPT都要算进CPT得时间， 因此影响了他暑假实习的时间。
现在打算去国外做visiting scholar两个学期，再次问了ISS的人，得到的答复仍然是
可以申请CPT维持F1身份，但是不会算进CPT的时间，所以也没有时间限制。不同的
counselor给的答复都不一样，我担心即使我的counselor给了我CPT，最后因为又CPT超
时无法申请OPT。
不知道去哪里可以明确的知道，这种规定应该是怎样。 |

好办。
问题是，visiting scholar这种身份，能享用到学校的医疗保险待遇吗？ld年底就要生
了。完全自己买保险，两个人岂不是要500$? postdoc 的身份是不是就可以享受到公立

J1 trainee。在网上搜集了下相关信息，在美过境内几乎不可能实现scholar到trainee
的身份转换。需要回国重新申请J1 trainee的签证。
不知道版上有没有相同经历的人，现在的项目结束之后，拿着新的DS2019回国立马再申
请J签证，VO会认为你有移民倾向而增加被拒的可能吗？
PS：提供的职位不是非常喜欢，但考虑到公司愿意sponsor J1 trainee，所以有点犹豫
。Sponsor J来暂替H1B对公司来说是非常难操作的吗？如果这种情况还算普遍，估计打
算再找找。 |

我才问了实验室财务部门，告知我的信息显示有义务交税。
我猜测有可能是以下某个原因导致我必须交税，请知情人士指点下。
1）不是从中国申请J1的，项目完后会回日本继续读书。
2）刚到美国还没满10天，还没申请SSN。
3) short term scholar不享受免税。。。
