full time positions. But summer intern is more geared toward undgrad Junior
students, whereas full time is for seniors. Most interns will get a job
offer at the end of their internship unless they really screw something up
during the internship. |

争太激烈。老板不出名的话很难申请到，所以悲剧了。。。她其实也是做neuroscience
的，以后也许申请一下neuroscience方面的summer course或者Zebrafish的specific

本人中等学校phd第三年，无线基础知识扎实，主要项目是基于error control coding
的，MIMO,OFDM也均有涉及。编程上C/C++/matlab都很熟练，python会用。
老板才同意出去实习所以申晚了，目前只面了一个local小公司，网申刚开始感觉很不
给力，做理论的opening太少。想在此求个物理层的summer intern，公司大小无所谓，
主要想攒经历。时间从5月开始，可以3个月以上，地点不限。

考完final就接着上了3天班，当时答应经理的时候根本没有看日历，只知道final之后
要上2天班，就说可以了。结果母亲节还上班了，然后一看排班的本子，居然已经给我
排满了40小时一周！也没有给我新的短信告诉我一声，真是可恶，我早就反复声明要排
班一定要提前一个礼拜告诉我，我家里有小朋友，要提前安排的嘛！据说是经理开掉一
个Tech，然后还有一个找到银行的工作quit了.
然后有个Tech老公母亲节过世了，好像是heart attack，去年就stroke一次，才50的样
子。
本来district manager要给我排multiple store的，看来这个summer要在我老店里面待
着了。
我不太想这样，因为我们经理是个越南人，总是想着省钱，明明是很忙的super center
，总是要cut员工的hours，这样我们总是under staffed。顾客评分才80不到。2个女
pharmacist很bossy，上班就压力很大。
越南经理自己很能干，自己做很多Tech的活，别的Pharmacist被逼得要当半个Tech就不

填了一晚上GS的申请网页, 然后又稀里糊涂地递交了. 今天网上搜了下关于summer
intern的申请, 才发现GS家是有黑名单的, 一次fail说是终身block. 后悔呀... 而且
我不是常青藤学校的phd, 事先也没有去大城市做networking, 估计不被fail的几率跟
买彩票中奖的几率差不多了.
所以在这里发个贴子, 求好心人给个refer吧, 不是GS的也没关系, 还没到大多数公司
的deadline, 我还可以申请的. 有GS的牛牛, 请帮忙说下话吧. 我申请了GS的三个
office, houston, la, chicago 的. 不胜感激了!!! |
